Digital India: Started in August 2014, this scheme was launched to develop the country in the field of Digitalization and electronics. The development in the field of digital electronics will hence improve the economy of the country. Under this campaign, the government wanted to connect all the ministries with common people on a digital platform so that the details of the government’s work could reach them as soon as possible. This also helps the government to get feedback from the common people directly.

Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana: one of the very important schemes launched by the government. Under this scheme, the govt. has given the facility to open a zero balance account to poor people or to people who don’t have bank accounts. This scheme has proved to be a great success.

MP Adarsh Gram Yojana: Under this scheme, all the MPs of Lok Sabha will use some funds from their funds to contribute towards the development of a village. In this way, all the villages of the country can develop in terms of infrastructure and other facilities. All the MPs were asked to adopt one village.

Atal Pension Scheme: Under this scheme, people will get the facility of Old Age Pension. It was decided to provide pension to those elderly people living in many small places. This scheme gives the ability to accumulate wealth for old age before retirement. The scheme runs on behalf of Regulatory and Development Authority. Under this scheme, old people can get a pension from one thousand to five thousand rupees.

Indian Government Schemes

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana: This scheme is beneficial to those who don’t have their own home. According to this Yojana, around 22 million households will be constructed across the country by the year 2022. Under this scheme, benefits will be provided to people who are poor and compelled. According to this plan, they will be given subsidies and loans so that they can build houses and gradually get a loan. More facilities will be extended to women, Senior Citizens, and SC/ST.

Prime Minister Jyoti Bima Yojana: This is a kind of Life Insurance Plan. According to this plan, the policyholder will have to deposit Rs. 330 annually and in return, he will get a policy of rupees two lakhs. Any person above the age of 18 years can avail this policy and must have a bank account linked up.

Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana: Under the Prime Minister’s Security Insurance Scheme, the emphasis is on providing accident-related death or partial physical problems. This scheme has been started to provide insurance to rural people. The government has kept the subscription charge Rs. 12, in lieu of which the policy holder will get insurance cover of up to 2 lakhs.

Prime Minister Agriculture Irrigation Scheme: According to the information received from this scheme, about 45 percent of the agricultural sector of the country is such, where irrigation is arranged and in the remaining places irrigation is done only by the old methods. Under this scheme the government will arrange infrastructure for irrigation.

Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme: This scheme provides insurance of rabi and kharif crops from weather to the farmers. All the farmers will be able to avail this benefit. This scheme has been started in place of old schemes NAIS and MNAIS. According to this scheme, the farmers have to pay 2% for the entire Kharif crop and 1.5% for the rabi crop.

Prime Minister Jan Drugs Scheme: This scheme replaces the old Jan Drugs Scheme. It is a matter of opening 3000 medicines i.e government drugs shop where people can buy medicines at lower costs.

Kisan Vikas Patra: It is an investment scheme under which the amount deposited after 8 years and four months will be doubled.

Soil Health Card Scheme: The government started this scheme to aware the farmers about soil fertility and to increase their yield.

Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao: Under this scheme, the education and development of the girl child are done to improve the sex ratio.

Mission Rainbow: Under this scheme, seven types of vaccines will be provided free of costs to the newly born babies and pregnant women including Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio, TB, Hepatitis B, Pertussis etc.

Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana: Under this scheme electricity will be provided to various parts of the country, to prepare the related infrastructure, to make metering system etc.

Atal Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (Amrit): Under this scheme, the work of delivering basic services such as water supply, sewerage, urban transport etc to the cities and house was started. Its main aim is to provide a clean water supply to the people.

Prime Minister Ujjawala Yojana: Under this scheme, the LPG cylinders are provided to the rural areas of the country for the clean environment. Free LPG is given to the rural households under this scheme.

Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana: Under this scheme, people of rural areas are given credit, credit insurance for cottage industries. Loans up to rupees 50,000 to rupees 10 lakhs are provided under this scheme.

Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana: Under this scheme, various financial services are being provided to the poor and deprived people to bring them forward in the society.

Sukanya Samrudhi Yojana: Under this scheme, any parent can open a bank account for their daughters of age below 10 years. After the age of 21, the girl can use this money for her marriage or education.

Ayushman Bharat Scheme: Under this scheme, health benefits coverage of up to 5 lakhs will be given to the poor people.
